An educational tour of nature and environment outside the jungle. Orchid Garden - sees over 800 varieties of orchid including the exotic species; thrive abundantly on one hectare of floral paradise. The Deer Park - located on the Undulating slopes and sprawling valley of the lake Garden. Close to a bubbling stream at the edge of the valley are several mouse deer. The mouse deer is the world’s smallest hoofed animal and a popular subject in local folklore due to its legendary wittiness. The Butterfly Park - the butterfly park houses some 6,000 butterfly’s of over 120 species. The park is an imitation of the butterfly’s natural habitat. It includes more than 15,000 plants from 100 species that have been used to recreate a Malaysian Rainforest atmosphere. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park - the largest bird park in South East Asia, houses thousand of birds representing nearly every major species in this part of the world. |

We begin our tour with National Zoo, the largest zoo in Malaysia and situated just outside the city limits and yet a world away from its hustle and bustle. Located 13 km northeast of Kula Lumpur, the National Zoo houses some 200 species of animals, bird and reptiles, while the aquarium has 80 species of marine and fresh-water life. Within the extensive grounds is an area for sea lions where visitors can see them being most active during feeding time. Next proceed to the Royal Selangor factory where upon arrival, you will be taken for of the pewter Gallery. The Gallery offers a host of interactive displays and fascinating exhibits, aimed at educating and titillating the sense. From the Gallery, we continue with the highlight of today’s tour - schools of Hard Knocks. Using just a few simple tools (hammer, wooden mould, scraper), make a pewter dish personalised with your initials or message that you wish to engrave onto the dish. Step by step, the experiences pewter smith will guide you through the simple processes of forming, scraping, polishing and packing. The finished dish if for you to keep along with an apron as a momentous. A personalised certificate will be presented to you to attest to your newfound skills. |

Depart Kuala Lumpur at 8:30am reaching Port Klang. Malaysia busiest port in an hour. The 30 minute ferry ride a panoramic view of the busy harbour and the mangroves swamps of nearby islands. On arrival in Pulau Ketam, take a leisurely stroll to see how an entire fishing community lives in a village where even the roads are built on stilts, Lunch will be serve at a local restaurant. After lunch, catch the ferry for the return trip to Port Klang Drive up to view the fabulous palace of the Selangor Sultan. Visit the Sultan Salahuddin Mosque; also know as the Blue Mosque. Capped by one of the largest religious domes in the world, the mosque occupies about 36 acres of beautiful parkland surrounded by the Municipal Council Tower, State Library, State Museum and the Lake Garden. Stop at Thean Hou Temple before we conclude our tour for the day. |

The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Putra Jaya takes approximately 50 minutes via the highway. Our first stop will be Taman Warisan or Agricultural Heritage Park - a living museum for mango, rubber, coca, palm oil, durian, jackfruits, herb and etc. A demonstration on the entire rubber manufacturing process from the time it is tapped and churned out as fully smoked sheets will be shown during the tour. Next proceed to Putrajaya Government Centre, there are numerous new government complexes located in this new townships. The most imposing structure in Putajaya is the thin pinkish Putra Mosque. Standing beside Dataran Putra and facing the Putrajaya Lake, it incorporates architectural elements from Turkistan, Kazakhstan and Morocco. Another eye-catching building is the Prime Minister’s office - Putra Perdana. Other interesting places are Putra Bridge, Prime Minister’s residence. |

Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation was established in 1989 by the Department of wildlife and National parks. The centre is a base for the Elephant Relocation Team, Which began the elephant translocations problem programme in 1974. The only one of its kind in Malaysia, the team is dedicated to locating, subduing and then translocation problem elephants from areas where their habitats are constantly being encroached by plantations and to other suitable habitats throughout the Peninsular such as Taman Negara. Over the past 25 years the centre has helped prevent the further declined of the elephant population by relocating more than 300 wild elephants. Tour includes elephant ride, elephant feeding and those who are brave; we suggest you bring a change of clothes and towel if you wish to participate in water activities such as swimming and bathing the elephant in the river. |

Proceed to Kuala Selangor town in the quiet hamlet of Kampung Kuantan, site of one of the largest firefly colonies in the world. On arrive at Kuala Selangor, visit 'Kota Melawati' formerly known as 'Fort Altingsburg', the execution block, royal mausoleum and colonial buildings. A bird sanctuary park at the foot of Bukit Melawati is an ideal place for bird-watchers to watch local any migratory birds. Also found are silvered-leaf monkeys, butterflies and etc. Next proceed to Kampung Kuantan. The highlight of the tour. Row upstream in a small un-motorised boat (tongkang) in the quiet darkness to witness the blinking Rees. This scintillating display of fireflies portrays an image of a flashing Christmas tree. The synchronized, rhythmic flashing is produced by the thousand of fireflies found in the mangrove swamp of Kampung Kuantan. The skilled local oarsmen make this experience a memorable and unforgettable one. |

Visit St. Peter’s Church (1710) - the oldest Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past the largest 17th Century Chinese cemetery outside of China, located at Bukit China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to view the Sultan’s well before driving through the Portuguese Settlement. Proceed to view the famous gateway. 'Port De Santiago' and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church lined by 17th Century Dutch tombstones. Next on the list is 'Red Square' - the salmon pink Dutch administrative building which today houses the Malacca Museum and government offices. Visit Christchurch before proceeding for lunch, we visit the ‘Abode Merciful Clouds' or the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple - the only temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese belief under the same roof, viz : Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. It is the shrine of Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity - flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave.
